No. That's not really your style, now is it?
No, your style is something more along the lines of putting that front forward, but nobody falls for it. You're quite horrible at lying. Insecurity makes your feelings hard to display, and a lack of expression makes you difficult to read. The mask breaks sometimes when the two issues clash, and you don't cope well when that happens- let's just say your classmates have begun to assume you're bothered even when you're not. But, it's okay. You still keep a calm face amid it all, even when faced with something that scares you. They can poke fun at you all they want, but you get it now.
You're not alone.
Even wandering a strange environment (which is becoming something of a hobby, maybe you should look in to track after all), the mask is still and stoic while your insides twist. Junpei had told you and Yukari to split up, and this was where you had found yourself. He's there too, of course. Not Junpei, him. Lyrically present in the back of your head, soothing your woes. The others, their- their other selves didn't do things like that, not expressly. You hadn't minded when Mitsuru had told you that. In every other way, you were average among SEES; if anything, it set you apart from your classmates. Yukari was immovably stubborn, and Junpei was eager to prove he could handle anything that came his way. They said your connection to your other self was very strong, and that was enough for you.
His lilting music is like a hum along with the tune blaring through your headphones, and despite the on and off swells of panic, you grant yourself a moment of pause, to simply soak in the music and comfort your other self is granting. Calm down, it's almost saying. You needn't worry.
Maybe your other self should have been the leader, not Junpei. He seemed much more natural at this than anyone else.
