Zelda and Samus' Not So Kawaii Relationship Life Of PTSD
Samus Aran often has trouble sleeping. Usually it has to do with nightmares, brought on by having the weight of the universe on her shoulders thanks to her charge from the Chozo to be the universe's protector.
Tonight, though, it is simply due to the weight of one person on her shoulder, and idle awkward thoughts of wondering just how she got in this position. Not that she doesn't enjoy Zelda's company, but getting caught up in this much emotional attachment is usually outside her M.O. Granted, it's not like she can just up and leave. Her gunship's in ruins, and she's found a lot to do on this planet.
And... On her rougher nights, having someone nearby to hold onto is pretty nice. Of course, she's not the only one who has issues sleeping...
