Bloody Roar: Chimeric Valor [Interest Check]

You awaken from a long sleep. It feels like you were always asleep,
really. You don't know where you are, or who you are for that matter.
You're wet and cold - fresh from a holding vat. There are others here.
Not all of the vats are open. Just the few of you, out of ten. Nine in
a circle, with one in the middle. There's an alarm going off, pounding
in your head. A garbled voice comes over the intercom, telling you all
that you need to escape, as fast as possible. It's a long way to the
roof, but your mystery benefactor is convinced you have the strength
and the skills to make it out alive. Time to find out.

You are a part of Project Helios, a supersoldier project carried out by the Neo Tylon Corporation involving genetic splicing with animals and/or cybernetic enhancements. You may show visible signs of this, and look like a monster, or you may be lucky, and still look like a human. It's not consistent. The only thing that seems to be consistent are numbers and symbols tattooed on your biceps. It's up to you to escape from Neo Tylon, and find out who and what you are. As for after that? ...let's cross that bridge if you get to it.

What is this?
This a Valor campaign, based on the Bloody Roar fighting games, with a bit of Kamen Rider sprinkled in. The player characters all start the game as amnesiacs, thanks to Project Helios' preliminary brainwashing. As such, your characters will not know that they are Zoanthropes, and won't be able to utilize their beast forms until they reach level 5 and unlock a transformation ult. (Unless, of course, you'd prefer to make a different ult at that point, that's up to you - however, the group will at least all learn at that point that they're Zoanthropes.)

What do I need to know?
-I'm not certain when exactly this will start, other than I want to wait until Kingdom Valor ends, so rough estimate is maybe late 2021?
-Sessions will run roughly three hours, done via Roll20. There will be a discord server for OOC stuff. Weekday and time are very to be determined. Ideally I'd want to make it Fridays to replace KV, but who knows what the fuck will be going on in the world at that time.
-I'm welcome to Valor newbies! I'm looking for four to five players.

Character guidelines:
PCs are experiments made with the intention of being powerful enough to stand up to entire military units on their own, and have had their genes spliced with those of animals (singular or multiple, player choice), and possibly enhanced with cybernetic upgrades. While these changes may alter the PCs' size, they are still humanoid in shape. The setting is primarily a near-future sci-fi with a handful of fantasy/supernatural bits - similar to Resident Evil and Metal Gear. Until their actual names are learned, PCs will only be known by their project codenames ICly, which I'll be assigning - these codenames will be the corresponding names to the symbols they're tattooed with. (Helios, Mercury, Venus, Terra, Mars, etc.)

If you think this is neat, but won't be able to play, I'm open to also having some folks in the server to discuss plotting and plans with in a locked channel! (Especially since this will be my first time DMing, ahah.)

General Availability: Guess what! That game I mentioned in your earlier interest check like a year ago beefed it just as I predicted. So Sundays are an option again! And my ideal day right now, tbh. Otherwise, I'm still in the EST time-zone and work tue-sat. Can probably do evenings during my work week. And Sat is my only HARD NO day, because you love SKV I love SKV we all love SKV.

Character Concept(s): Like I said before, I'm totally down for filling niches or brainstorming with other PCs for synergies. Be it for CR or Combat, etc. To toot my own horn a little, when it comes to RP I like to think I got range~

Again, I do want to avoid making a character too similar to MaK, though. Just for the sake of variety. So I'll probably try to stay away from the Int/Res build. And magicians.

Hesitant to state character ideas here cuz I'm the kinda person who like has 30 raw ideas then slowly pars them down overtime until one really resonates with me. I am gonna toss out the offer to other potential Players of playing identical twins together who are both "Gemini", though, b/c I think that has a lot of fun potential.

Well, I think I'll have the magician angle covered with an antagonist, ohoho.

The Gemini thing wouldn't quite float, sadly - they're codenamed for our solar system's planets.

I usually ended up playing Yugo, Kohryu, and Stun!
